The Riddick Center had its 70th anniversary celebration today.  CM Paul Koretz spoke of the importance of the center as a community resource as did many others.

Boy scouts performed flag duties.  Girl scouts thanked donors and described how much the center means to them.

Fowla was thanked for paying for a new roof for the center just in time for El Nino rains. The roof cost $16,749.  Fowla had budgeted $20,000 so the Riddick now has roughly $3,200 available to them for any other repairs or upgrades that are needed.

Several pictures from today’s event are shown below.  The Riddick Center website can be found at www.riddickcenter.org.
