Councilmember Paul Koretz’ “Hi-5″ newsletter reported the following:”Members of the Friends of the Westwood Library gathered Thursday, September 26 to receive a contribution of $10,000 from the Friends of West Los Angeles (FOWLA), represented by FOWLA, Sarah Shaw of JMB Realty and Councilmember Paul Koretz. FOWLA, a community-based organization in West LA, partners with civic-minded businesses like JMB Realty to support many of the libraries, parks and other vital community resources in the 5th Council District. FOWLA’s contribution of $10,000 was presented to the Friends of the Westwood Library, an organization dedicated to expanding services and resources at the Westwood Library. Councilmember Koretz joined FOWLA in presenting the generous contribution to Friends of the Westwood Library and thanked FOWLA, Friends of the Westwood Library and JMB Realty for their support for important community institutions in the 5th Council District.”
